Marilyn Steiner, MLS

Marilyn Steiner is a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Youngstown State University in 1986 and a Master of Library Science from Kent State University in 1991. She worked from 1988 to 1999 at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County as a children's librarian. In 1999, she joined the Fairfield County District Library as Coordinator of Youth Services. In January 2006, Marilyn accepted the directorship of the FCDL. She keeps a hand in children's work, coordinating a group of Puppeteens who perform several times a year at the library.

Marilyn resides in Lancaster. She has one daughter, Mandy, who is an admission counselor at Capital University.
